Romantic Bedroom Decorating

A romantic bedroom should please all the senses. To improve the privacy and comfort, the Better Sleep Council, tips and advice on how to transform your bedroom into a love nest that appeals to each of your five.

Touch.
The bed is central to any room and romantic rooms make it as comfortable as possible. Luxury linens and plush pillows are wonderful, but the real key is a comfortable mattress, while a caress to feel heavenly and both you and your partner to have.

Sight.
Lighting should be soft and filtered, bright lights can not harm the atmosphere. Use low power light bulbs or those with a soft pink hue. And for special evenings, nothing adds romance like the warm glow of candles (be sure that never left unattended burning candles).

Smell.
Gently wiping your light bulbs with a thin coat of perfumed oil can send calming or sensual scents throughout the room. In addition, sprinkle powder on your sheets to make fragrant and silky. Scented sachets of lavender and rosemary add a touch of romance.

Sound.
Keep your favorite CDs to the touch, soft music is one of the easiest ways to lift your mood. If it's noisy outside your bedroom window, hang thick curtains to muffle the noise. A peaceful retreat room is the place to focus the other distractions such as television to another room.

Taste.
For a late-night indulgence, place strawberries and whipped cream on a small tray next to the bed. Champagne glasses and champagne are also ideal at the beginning of a romantic evening at home.

"Evaluate your bedroom, starting with the sense of touch, make your bed and mattress are as comfortable as possible. Then look at the rest of the senses. For a romantic bedroom can set the mood of the evening at the risk of not wanting an uncomfortable bed or a noisy bedroom destroy the moment, "said Andrea Herman, director of the Better Sleep Council.
